Poe-Vs-Monk

I took poe's reading on the "Rue Morgue" and really couldnt compare the differences in any other reading assigned. they all played out the same scenio , even to me the language seemed the same. Poe had no type of imagnation with his writing to me . When having to find other Genres of a mystery i thought of my favorite two mystery shows Monk and murder she wrote . they both didnt show the same crimes; if anything monk was alittle more of a fanstay where; murder she wrote had a bit of truth behind most of her cases. Edger Allen Poe compare to murder she wrote with a more realistic view that excalty had most sitting on the edge of your sit woulding who could it be (basically a really challenge). Where with Monk there is no real puzzle Monk with his odd ways solves a crime maybe 2mins into the show but its the humor that makes this so different then most mystery.
