A terrible mystery story

Choose a time period and locale: A Victorian english manor in late 1800's. In Suffolk, England.
Develop a detective: Liam Everson is a man in his mid- thirties, dark hair, dark eyes and a pale complection. His face, even though he is young looks weathered and worn. He is a respected writer and is just now coming to the front of the days best known writers. He is best known for his creativiy and plot twists in his small short stories. His mind is his biggest tool and biggest obstacle. Known by his friends and fellow writers as sort of a recluse and very eccentric individual.
Outline the crime: After purchasing his new beautiful estate, for a very low cost, he comes to notice that the old victorian home is more then he wanted. Only at night, when the sun sets, noises begin to grow around the house. At first, just creaks, nothing to think over. The house, being very old has seen its share of residents and Liam believes the noises are just that, only noises. But as the days pass and the nightime comes, the noises become more and more prevalent. So much so that Liam begins to question just what is making these noises. The sounds from the house are not only noises but voices. Voices of men in pain, howling and crying for help. After a short time of this Liam begins to worry and becomes completely dedicated to finding the source of these sounds.
Include some clues: Liam being completely taken over by the sounds, starts doing some research into the home and who owned it before him. He comes to see numerous amounts of people owning the estate but just for a short while. He grows more and more curious and the noises get worse each night.
Identify the alibis of the suspects: Liam refuses to believe that the house can be haunted and comes to the conclusion that it is his dear friends playing a trick on him. He asks them to spend the night at his home but when his friends abide, the noises cease. They believe their friend is going mad and ask him to leave with them but Liam refuses. He must find out what is causing the sounds.
Provide a climax: After weeks have passed and the entire home is filled with candles so that light fills every crevis in the mansion, the noises are not only noises but Liam feels a presence now watching him, following him. The candles go out bythemselves and the water runs on its on. Doors open and close without the hand of Liam touching them. And on certain occasions, Liam is unable to get out of bed because he is being held down by something he is unaware of. After many events of being physically contacted Liam has completely lost it. The voices now scream, a horrible tone that is unable to be uttered by any human voice and Liam is convinced that the noises are trying to tell him something. Sleeping has became an act that is impossible unless Liam takes some sort of sleeping aid. Though the voices became louder and louder and the contact became more fierce and frequent, Liam took more drugs to sleep. And one night he took too much and passed on.
Write your denouement: Unaware of the time that has passed and the fact that he had taken too many sleeping aids, Liam awoke in his home months after he had died. But he was not alone, in his house were all sorts of men. Writers, doctors, and the average wealthy men that have owned the estate before Liam. Something was different now, Liam was able to speak to the other men but not in a normal way. He recognized the noises now and for some reason felt at one with them.
Summarize with a short conclusion. Liam was walking around in his estate and saw a new man he has not seen before. But for some reason the man was unable to see Liam. The man was an average man, no different then the rest but Liam for some reason, didn't take kind to him. And one night when the man went to bed Liam would blow out all his candles in his bedroom.
