Most feminist writers and readers as well as their characters are portrayed in a literary critics analyze of what the role of women should or shouldn't be. Elaine Showalter essay "Towards feminist Poetics", makes a big step in introducing the different and elaborate ways to define the women's point of view from the men's.
there seems to be a serious perception of what a women's role should be and the way that most writers and readers and writers view this. there happens to be two distinct types of feminist criticism. One is the concern of the women as a reader, meaning that there is once again alot of books and movies written and directed by men , that honestly have no clue into what women feel or deal with. It hard for most to understand way the male population continue to view us in such a barbaric manner but it's a question that has been into play for many years before this. When the work comes from a men there really isn't any real heart or compassion for women within their writing, it also starts to change the minds and views that other may have had about the female sex. Which means it can be more of a stereotype towards the female race based of the little bit of knowledge given by those who have no understanding of what it's like.
The second type is with woman as a writer, here it's more of a personal approach based on the fact that that particular one has lived through what she has wrote . their is no grammatical bashing of what one doesn't know but every issue imagined is portrayed in a way that would change the character of the female race.
this is why these to are so different one deals with men's hand in the artistic way of writing on women history and the other has more of that interexpereince on what their writing , in other words they have their facts together a lit bit better.
At one point in this essay she compared the Feminist move to the "Slaves of Egypt" which was a quote given to her by two other female writers saying how that was the way that this move was , it was bounded it up by false facts and selfish glorification by Men or the world ( which represents Egypt). But by the continual writing done by so many women it would free them of the continual bondage and be able to get recognized for their contribution to this world , the same as men where allowed to express .
It was so easy to see the respect that we as women had gain just by reading the small essay by Thomas Hardy on " The Mayor Of Casterbridge". This writer allowed women to be treated those they where slaves and a burden to the freedom and grow of a men's world. which we know can't be true women are the ultimate creator of live .
This is why i believe that the feminist movement is becoming more of a vivd topic to express the misconception of what history has always said about women in general.
