WOMEN ROCK!!!

The movie that comes to mind where a women take over and kicks ass is , DOOMSDAY. A new science fiction movie that's out in theaters about a woman that is born into a world and time where disease is running wild and herself and family is trying to survive and make it to a safe Haven . While trying to run she was shot and was wounded pretty badly, to most men this would be expected for the worse to happen , a women being hurt would only mean that her death was right behind and then this wouldn't even be such a good movie any more. But for this movie that wasn't even the case , she grew up thriving on trying to defeat evil, and was consider much stronger than any men around. To a feminist that would probably be so cool to know that we have a greater advantage our men when talking about strength in battle, In doomsday their was no other women that had this particular courage, every other women had the role of being very submissive to men, but this women defied all men that came across her path. Only thing about this was it seem like they where giving women the same respect as a man in battle ,but than on the flip side you had a few women that played the normal damsel in distress or the quiet but half naked sidekick

If any feminist critics saw this movie it would differently get hands up as a movie that rock , Like i said she wasn't the common girly ,girly with makeup on and heels kicking ass ,but she carried herself in a very manly manner that was intimidating to others around especially men. I believe that they would want women to be seen as rough and tough to allow others to know that their is another side to women besides cooking ,cleaning and child bearing. To me that was real cool that she could move and kill the way that , it was always know for the role to be that ruthless it would be portrayed by a man but to have this role played by a women was a great change.

One scene that come to mind , that would be just down the line of what a feminist would like ; was the scene from when this girl and her team of cops had been captured by the surving people outside of the wall. The whole time in captivity she would give up the reason why she had came over the wall, even though she was being tortured she just wouldn't ,most of her team was dead , others where being eaten alive but she stood there able to fight back and kill these people off. You can't tell me she didn't rock , she was absolutely awesome, and so was this movie. this to me was a good example of a role for men being turned around for a woman.
