Senegal

Senegal has been known to be one of Africa's model democracies, established with mukti-party systems and tradition of a civilian rule. Senegal political participation and peaceful leadership changes where not at all new. this colony country has had the representation of the french parilament for a very long time. Most of this profound country history started around 1848, during the revolutionary mark of west Africa. They had two important events that took place which were (1) the ablioshment of slavery and the newly freed slaves becoming French citizens in Senegal around April of 1848. Which that privilage had been extened from 1834 all the way to 1984 allowing these people to inhabit the french settlement. (2) the decree of instituing unviersal manhood suffrage, male production of the french semegal, including the newly-freed slaves right to vote in French national electtions.
Senegal is primarily an argicultural country, but industrial in cities, especially Dakar which is still as of today. There principle food crop wher corn, millet, sorghum, rice and vegtables theses where main economical resources for trade with other countries and whith the French as well.
Senegal gained it's independence from thr french on Aug 20,1960 by which they withdrew from the federation and became independent within a French community.
