"The Cheerleader's Fall"

Time period and locale- Present day. Queens, New York. Tattered looking high school.

Develop a Detective- A sixteen year old, high school student, works for the school newspaper. Physically being short and boxy, has long black hair that’s always messy. Usually always wearing a grey overcoat and sneakers. Has a special knack for mysterious, helps find missing pets around the neighborhood. His name is Jeff Shaneton.

Outline the Crime- An upcoming cheerleader, Janice Aster mysteriously goes missing at a home game. Jeff is at the game writing for the school newspaper and sees Mr. Jasper, the school janitor hurrying out the gym. Jeff thinks its curious that Janice didn’t perform at half time, when she had been there before the game practicing her routine. Jessie always seen as second best on the squad is extremely happy that she gets to perform Janice’s part of the cheer. Janice is found dead in the shower room.

Clues-
~ Jeff goes into the locker room and finds Janice’s locker open, with a love letter torn in half.
~ There’s dirtied footprints near the showers of the gym.
~ Janice is dead in the shower.

MMO-

Motive-
~Jasper had an affair with Janice, she threatened to tell his wife.
~Jessie wants to become captain of the cheer squad.

Method-
~Jasper first tried to reconcile with Janice but she didn’t buy it. So he decides to kill her and make it look like an accidental slip and fall.
~Jessie decides enough is enough and decides to kill Janice before the halftime performance to get her chance at becoming number one.

Opportunity-
~The last home game at the school.

Identify the Alibis of suspects:

~Jessie Anderson- Always second best on the cheer squad, has aspirations to become captain until Janice came to school and took those dreams away. She was performing the cheer during halftime.

~Jasper- Says he was cleaning up throw-up in the boys bathroom. There had been an "accident" during the time Janice went missing.

Climax- After calling the police Jeff finds the initials on the Pompom to be J.A. And the love letter to be sprayed with perfume.

Denouncement- It wasn’t that Jessie wanted to become number one on the cheer squad it was she wanted Janice to notice she had feelings for her. Before the cheerleaders went to practice, Jessie slipped the note into Janice’s locker. When she saw how she just ripped it up and laughed, Jessie became enraged and pushed Janice while in the shower, she slipped and fell, breaking her neck.

Summary- Jessie goes to jail for "accidentally" killing her high school crush. Jeff has another mystery solved and walks out the High School, waiting just will happen tomorrow at school.
